Ronald McNair Omega Scholarships Awarded

Last year, Rho Beta Beta's 501(c)(3) organization (Space City Ques) committed over $10,000.00 for scholarships and financial assistance to Houston-area high school graduates attending four-year colleges. The scholarships are offered each year through the Ronald McNair Omega Scholarship Fund.
The Ronald McNair Omega Scholarship is funded primarily by proceeds from the Ernie R. Reese Memorial Golf Tournament, held annually in the spring. The scholarship is named in memory of Dr. Ronald E. McNair, a NASA astronaut who heroically perished along with his crew-members in the 1986 Space Shuttle Challenger tragedy. Dr. McNair was also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Rho Beta Beta chapter.
